Terror in an elementary school

Robert McNair Elementary School in Dekalb County, Georgia was the scene of a front office staff hostage situation as a 19-year old man, carrying a semi-automatic rifle, was able to enter the school.

As the police arrived, the suspect fired at the police, but they were able to enter the building and take custody of the suspect without further incident.

The students were evacuated out to the back of the school, and were then bused to a nearby Wal Mart to be reunited with their families.

Teacher sexually assaults a student

A former Spanish teacher is being charged with sexually assaulting a former student.  She did so repeatedly during a four month period in 2012.  She was 32, and the student was 15.  She faces up to 10 years in prison.
