During a conference at Chula School became enraged. She tore a phone out of the wall, attempted to use it to assault the school principal, and threatened the lives of other school officials.
School officials restrained her until sheriff‘s deputies could arrest her.
A substitute teacher was arrested for allegedly assaulting a student in class.
After telling his class to study for a test, a student at Krotz Springs Elementary School informed the teacher he had studied at home. At that point the substitute allegedly tore off the top of the student‘s desk, threw it across the room, and lifted the desk, with the student still in it, to his face.
The sheriff‘s department is investigatiing.
A man who called in a threat to shoot up schools then kill himself was arrested.
His call promted widespread school lockdowns in Monterey Park, Santa Monica and Los Angeles, including
