A report was filed with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department in which it was alleged that a 16-year old boy assaulted a 13-year old boy on a school bus. The victim’s mother took him to the hospital, although the nature of the injuries were not disclosed.
A fifteen-year old girl was attacked after school by 5 boys and a girl. The victim said the six people ‘swarmed‘ her, punching and kicking. She sustained a concussion, and cuts and bruises.
Ironically, the attack occurred on International Day of Pink, a day to remember the fight against bullying and discrimination.
Elkhart schools face increased security after a threat was found in an undisclosed location. The police were notified, and they assessed the threat.
The message left was specific, saying that 20 kids would be killed on April 15.
Indianapolis, IN Three students at North Central High School, a 16-year old and two fifteen-year olds, were arrested after spraying six other girls with pepper spray. The three were also found with homemade weapons, including a sock with a metal weight in it. The dispute was apparently over some comments made on Twitter. The arrest was made by a school police officer.
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have charged a teen with making threats about a school shooting on Facebook.
The teen is a student at Red Deer High School, where the shooting was to have taken place.
Columbus, GA
A 12-year old student at Rothschild Middle School reported a potentially deadly attack by a student with a butcher knife against a teacher, and hung himself, fearing that the bullies who had been after him would get him for being a “snitch“.
After only six months at the school, the student was getting beaten up and smeared with food. He had told his dad about 15-20 kids were out to get him. The night he reported the planned attack against a teacher, his sister found him hanging in his bedroom.
