A student who was arrested for a plot for a “massive” school shooting at Bartlesville High School plead not guilty after undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
The plot was revealed in December when the student attempted to recruit helpers.
Teacher of the Year resigns amidst molestation investigation

A teacher at Plainfield Middle School, who was recently selected as the “Teacher of the Year“, resigned after being charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
A detective with the Hendrick’s Count Sheriff‘s Department received a call that prompted the investigation.

Three students at Sleepy Hill Middle School were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit first degree murder after police thwarted their plot to attack the school.
The police did not provide details on the plan, other than to say they planned on creating “chaos“.

A student at LaSalle High School, an all-male parochial school shot himself in class in an apparent suicide attempt.
The school was placed on lockdown, and students were eventually taken to the gym.
No one else was injured.
Rampage at an elementary school

An 8-year old student of Holston Elementary School refused to get down from his chair. He struck a girl in the arm, and the principal was called. The boy refused to be controlled. By the time the incident was over, the principal had been hit, kicked, and bitten, three educators had been injured, and the police were called.
School bus assault recorded by students

A 13-year old girl was held down on a school bus by two boys while another girl punched her 8-10 times. She received minor cuts and bruising, and the assaulter was arrested, and faces expulsion.
The bus driver reportedly didn’t notice. Several students recorded the assault.
