Two 13-year old students at Hines Middle School were arrested and charged with attempted poisoning.
Over the period of a couple of months, the two students put hand sanitizer in a 66-year old teacher‘s drinks.
The school resource officer received a tip. He alerted the teacher, who notified the police.
A man named Zang killed his sister and his sister’s mother-in-law at home, then went to a primary school and slashed 11 with a knife before being subdued by parents. The students were being let out at the time, and the injured included parents and children.
No motive is known at this time.
Two different students made two different threats to bring guns to school and shoot others.
A 17-year-old was overheard by a teacher saying, “Bang bang, I’m shooting everyone up here.”
A 14-year-old allegedly said during lunch, “Friday is the end of the world. I am going to bring a gun to school and shoot this place up.”
Both denied being serious about what they said.
