I feel honored to have been selected to present at two different national conferences for Campus Safety Magazine this summer.
I feel honored and pleased to be presenting keynote sessions at two of the three Campus Safety Magazine – Campus Safety Conference events this year. Unfortunately, I will not be able to present at the Campus Safety Los Angeles Conference on July 23-24 due to a previously scheduled engagement. I am delighted to be able to present at the Campus Safety Chicago Conference on July 13-14 and at the National Campus Safety Forum in Washington D.C. on July 24-26. I have keynoted five previous Campus Safety Conferences but have not presented for the conference in a number of years. It is truly a pleasure and an honor to be able to participate in these awesome conferences.
I have always been impressed with the caliber and diversity of speakers and topics at Campus Safety Conferences and this year’s events will be no exception. Attendees will have excellent networking opportunities that can be as important as what they learn in the many information-packed sessions. Campus Safety Conferences also afford attendees the opportunity to visit a diverse assortment of vendor booths so they can see the latest offerings in campus safety technology solutions and service offerings.
My keynote presentation for the National Campus Safety Forum in Washington D.C. is titled “The Human Touch – How Brains, Human Spirit and Technology Saved Lives in Seven Seconds.”

Today’s campus safety, security and emergency preparedness technologies are truly astounding. However, the effectiveness of virtually any safety technology is reliant upon human factors. This dynamic, powerful, and unforgettable session will show practical ways campus organizations can improve human performance to compliment and support today’s very best campus safety technology and equipment solutions. This Keynote will focus intensely on concepts that have been validated by research, deep evaluation, and real-life high-stakes campus events.
It will be a busy summer with ten keynote presentations for state and national conferences thus far, another trip to Africa and several consulting projects. As always, I am pleased to keep busy. I am also looking forward to interacting with so many awesome advocates for children.
